“Attacks on the economic rights of the poor continue as Filipino workers suffer from depleted income brought about by rising cost of living"

“Attacks on the economic rights of the poor continue as Filipino workers suffer from depleted income brought about by rising cost of living,” ayon sa obispo.

“Real wages continue to deteriorate in the midst of unabated skyrocketing prices of food items and other basic commodities,” dagdag pa ni Bishop Alminaza.

“Aside from economic rights, civil and political liberties also remain under attack by the Marcos-Duterte administration,” aniya.

“Red-tagging and attacks and harassment against union leaders and members remain unabated and sanctioned by the State through the Anti-Terror Law and the NTF-ELCAC,” pagbabahagi ni Bshop Alminaza.

“Now more than ever, we must take on the responsibility of forcing the powerful to take notice of the plight of the ‘invisible,’ by lending our voices and efforts to uplift the lives of the marginalized,” aniya.
