The Borongan Cathedral in Eastern Samar province in the central Philippines has been converted into a vaccination site on Thursday, August 12, for the inoculation of the elderly and other residents most vulnerable to COVID-19.

The province of Eastern Samar has already vaccinated about 59,000 residents with the first dose of the vaccine while 31,000 are already fully vaccinated. (Photos by Alren Beronio)
