“The One Negros Ecumenical Council (ONE-C) joins in solidarity for Palestine. As Christians, we make up the body of Christ – the one for whom his mission of service was dedicated so that we may have life to the full. However, as this body, we are called into relationship with suffering communities around the world. Christian hope is made evident through our faith and actions both within the communities to which we belong, and also in the greater world community, when we stand together with those suffering in Palestine.”

Our prayers are with the people of Palestine. We envision a future where they are liberated from oppression and able to reconstruct their society in peace, recognized for their sovereignty and self-determination. We advocate for a just and enduring resolution that avoids domination, is free from fear, and pre-emptive actions. We pray for the dissolution of confusion, anger, and trauma across Palestine.”
