The Jesus Is Lord (JIL) Church Worldwide, under the leadership of its founder and spiritual director, Bishop Bro. Eddie C. Villanueva, marked its 45th anniversary at the Quirino Grandstand in Manila on Saturday, October 14, 2023.
In accordance with this year’s theme, “REVIVAL: Urgent Call to Action,” Villanueva emphasized the church’s pivotal role in nation-building.
The JIL Church, established in 1978, boasts millions of members across 82 provinces in the Philippines and 70 countries worldwide.
Notable attendees at the celebration include Villanueva’s son, Senate Majority Leader Joel Villanueva, Chief Justice Alexander Gesmundo, Senator JV Ejercito, and various members of the Villanueva family.
