“Let us reflect on the joy that comes from patiently waiting. When we wait there is an aspect of joy, you know when you’re waiting for someone you like, or you’re waiting for the fulfillment of a promise but after a certain period when the waiting gets long we become impatient,” bahagi ng pagninilay ni Cardinal Tagle.

“Be patient with one another do not complain about one another. This is significant during advent; we remember how God has been patient with us,” aniya.

“We should not forget that if the Lord has been patient with us, if the Lord has not given up on us, if the Lord continues to hope for our conversion, our reform then how come we are impatient with others. The patience of God towards us is rooted in His mercy,” dagdag ng cardinal.

“Usually those who are impatient with others forget that they have faults, they are self-righteous and they make themselves the norm the model that everyone should imitate but when you are impatient with other people you don’t have joy, you see only things to criticized and that is a miserable condition to see only things to criticized and not things that you can rejoice,” ayon pa sa cardinal.
