Archdiocese ng Palo, itinuon sa pananalangin ang paggunita ng anibersaryo ng ‘Yolanda’

Nagsagawa rin ang arkidiyosesis ng “special collection” para maipadala na tulong sa mga nasalanta ng bagyong “Rolly” sa Bicol region

Itinuon ng Archdiocese ng Palo, Leyte, ang paggunita sa ikapitong anibersaryo ng pananalasa ng super typhoon “Yolanda” sa bansa sa pag-aalay ng panalangin para sa mga naging biktima nito.

“We were encouraged to really focus and center our celebration on praying for the victims,” pahayag ni Father Alcris Badana, director ng Relief and Rehabilitation Unit ng Archdiocese of Palo.

Nagsagawa rin ang arkidiyosesis ng “special collection” para maipadala na tulong sa mga nasalanta ng bagyong “Rolly” sa Bicol region.




“We also included them in our intentions, and at the same time, we had a special collection for that intention,” dagdag ni Father Badana.

“We have already started encouraging people right after the typhoon to make the observance even more meaningful today,” ayon sa pari.

Isinagawa ang pagdiriwang sa pamamagitan ng Banal na Misa sa Metropolitan Cathedral of Our Lord’s Transfiguration sa pangunguna ni Archbishop John Du ng Palo.

Pagkatapos ng Misa ay isinagawa naman ang pagbabasbas sa “mass grave” ng mga nasawi sa bagyo at pagpapalipad ng kalapati bilang simbolo ng paggunita nito.
