Archdiocese of Manila to open Divine Mercy Chapel for 24/7 confessions

“God has always been waiting for the preeminent moment when a person can feel, can do, and can approach the sacrament of reconciliation”

The Archdiocese of Manila will open a Divine Mercy Chapel for round-the-clock confessions.

“God has always been waiting for the preeminent moment when a person can feel, can do, and can approach the sacrament of reconciliation,” said Cardinal Jose Advincula of Manila.

“We envisioned that this can be a place where anytime a person can avail himself of the sacrament of reconciliation,” said the prelate.

The confession chapel will be constructed at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Minor Seminary Complex in Makati City near the MRT Guadalupe Station for easy access to people.

The archdiocese will also build the Shrine of St. Joseph of the flight to Egypt in the area for people who are far from home.

“We will soon also be inaugurating the Shrine of St. Joseph of the flight to Egypt for our brothers and sisters who are in another island working for their families,” said the cardinal.

“This will be also a place where they can pray and find consolation as they feel homesick and miss their families,” he added.
