Filipinos visit temples, light incense sticks, and pray on February 1 to welcome the Chinese New Year, or Lunar New Year.

Chinese influence can be seen in the Filipinos’ love of Chinese food, consulting Feng Shui experts for good luck, and reading their Chinese horoscope. (Photo by Basilio Sepe)
