During his latest weekly general audience, Pope Francis has beseeched the faithful to pray for the victims of the new coronavirus, which has infected 65,000 and killed at least 1,383.
With so many faced with this “cruel” disease, he expressed hopes that a “path to healing” would be found as quickly as possible before an audience gathered in the Paul VI Audience Hall.
