IN PHOTOS: Cordillera Festival of Festivals brings color and culture

Baguio City is buzzing with excitement as the second Cordillera Festival of Festivals fills the streets with traditional colors and smiles.

People from all around, including tourists and locals, enjoyed a parade where participants dressed in bright traditional clothes, making everyone happy.

The fun started with a lively street dance parade. Seven groups from the five provinces and two cities of the Cordillera region joined the festivities at the Rose Garden in Burnham Park, Baguio City on Saturday, November 11.

This year, six festivals took the spotlight, each representing a province’s special traditions. The performers were from Apayao’s Lapat Festival, Baguio’s Panagbenga Festival, Benguet’s Adivay Festival, Ifugao’s Gotad Ad Festival, Kalinga’s Matagoan Festival, Kalinga’s Laga Festival and Mountain Province’s Lang-ay Festival.

The vibrant parade started at the Session Road which showcased the different major festivals of the provinces in one venue.
