    The Church encourages parents to dress their children like saints to create a deeper awareness of the lives of holy men and women

    Several parishes in the Philippines hold a “parade of saints,” where children dress as their favorite saints go around the community, to mark the Catholic observance of All Saints’ Day.

    LiCAS News photojournalist Jire Carreon visited the Parish of the Lord of Divine Mercy Church in Quezon City in the Philippine capital on October 31, 2022, to witness the return of the celebration after a two-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
